Foggy Shenanigans
Happy Monday, friends.
Obviously I'm linking up with Sami today to fill you in on my weekend shenanigans...
one. I wanted to splurge and have a treat on Friday... but I'm a little complicated.
two. Snuggles with Roscoe, well... attempted snuggles.
three. I finally tried Chipotle for the first time on Friday night, and it was amazing.
four. Helped my friend, Jennie, move all day Saturday.
five. Selfie with Jennie in her new place.
six. So much Fall love. Boots = my favorite.
seven. It's hard to see, but this is a thick layer of fog over the city. We went up a mountain to see this. So cool.
eight. Amanda and I write motivational quotes on our whiteboard for workouts. This is my motivation this week.
nine. Driving back down the mountain, into the fog. It was seriously such a cool experience and really neat to see.
Hope your Monday is fabulous. See y'all tomorrow.

FaceTime All The Friends
HAPPY FRIDAY!
It's been a hot minute (or five) since I've linked up with my favorite little Yoga Pants Princess for some #backthatazzupFriday action. But I'm baaaaaack.
This week I have been jamming out BIG TIME to some Miley Cyrus... I didn't think that would ever happen, but this song is just too catchy. I've been having dance parties for one, and running my butt off to this song since I heard it.
Now that I've got some tunes blasting and I'm staring at a blank page that I need to fill with words... and pictures... and more words... lets get this blog post started.
FaceTime FaceTime FaceTime. It's really such a marvelous invention, and it's kind of fun to say.

If Barney Stintson had FaceTime this wouldn't have happened.
I'm going to make myself sound like a 79 year old man who is seeing a T.V. for the first time, but technology these days is pretty snazzy. I'm a fan. I'm not going to bore you with too many words today, because who likes words? Well, I guess I like words since I write a blog... but you know what I mean.
Every time I use it, I feel like it's magic, and I'm part of the world of wizardry... or like a Jetson... or something.
I just feel special, okay?
I'm going to make a list, because I like lists and lists are A-OK in my book. I don't know how many things I'll list, so lets just not turn this into a numbers game right now because I don't need that added stress in my life - okay? Okay.
So lets see, here are <insert random number> reasons why I like FaceTime (and Skype and Google Hangouts):
- When you're on the other side of the country, you can pretend like you're at home for big events, like Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Easter, Games Nights, etc. I have FaceTimed or Skyped into most family dinners or parties that happen back home when I'm not there. #favoritechild
- It proves that I'm not being catfished by other bloggers. It could happen, you never know. But at least I know it's not happening to me with these fine ladies...
- Google Hangouts is like a cool version of FaceTime because I can see my favorites AT THE SAME TIME.
- FaceTiming with people who are drinking = HILARIOUS.
- PEOPLE WILL BE SILLY AND MAKE FUNNY FACES WITH YOU (yes, this deserved caps because it's amazing).
- Even though it's freakin' awesome, it sometimes has a downside or two...

Took JULIETTE'S (like how I used CAPS, J?) FaceTime virginity. Boom.
FaceTiming with Brin is one of my favorite things. This time was extra special because we also FaceTimed with Allie and it was the best thing, ever.

Then Allie visited Brin in Nebraska and I got to see them both AT THE SAME TIME ON ONE SCREEN #jealous

Brin and Allie in the same screen, and Sami-Cakes

Sometimes people aren't as excited to see you, as you are to see them...

Sometimes peoples just don't pick up when you call. It's sad.
I never know how to end blog posts, it's always so abrupt and it feels like I'm going to end it mid sente..

Feeling 21... er.. 19...
Happy Hump Day, lovelies.
Today, a few of my favourite people in ALL of the blog-land are doing a link-up that I just had to be a part of. Cause, duh - who doesn't love a good link-up?
This link-up is about drinking, so with that being said... mom, dad, aunti, or any other family member who reads this blog and doesn't want to read about drunken shenanigans, please just leave the blog now and come back another time.
Fun fact about Canada (for those of you who are American), our legal drinking age is 19 - some provinces even legalize drinking at age 18... so we lets just change this link up name.

Cheers
Last week was my birthday... my 25th birthday... and because I'm on a 90-day weight-loss challenge, I have no fun drinking shenanigans to report from birthday #25. But since this link-up isn't about our 25th birthday celebrations, lets move on.
I don't have a story about having to drive a boyfriend home because he got too drunk on my birthday, or puking uncontrollably for hours, or even having a hangover from hell to have to deal with the next day. Nope. Not this girl.

Surprisingly, I can handle my liquor preeeeetty well and can party hardy with the best of them. My story starts and finishes with the time that I consumed 28 shots in one night. I started the night off by saying I wasn't going to drink at all, and then 26 shots of vodka, a jager bomb, and a superman shot later - BOOM. 28 became my number.
I have no idea how, but I was blessed with the ability to not get hangovers. I'm pretty sure I just jinxed myself on this one now, so don't hate on me too much for it. But up until this point in my life, I have literally had ONE 'kind of' hangover... and that's because I was literally still drunk the next day until about 3:00pm. Not so fun.
Sorry Mom. If you're still reading this though, it's not my fault. I warned you.
Yep, all the free shots in the world. I don't hate it.
I can't tell you how much I drank (I have no idea), or what the guys names were, but I can tell you that it was one of the funnest nights. A lot of shenanigans were had, we drank a lot, danced a lot, and made friends with a lot of random strangers on the street. It's exactly what a 'night out' should consist of.
Have you ever taken a picture with two dicks at once? If you have, it's probably on a porn site somewhere and I don't want to know about it... just know that I may or may not be judging you for it.
Oh! The guys that we hung out with were dressed as a 'cougar trainer', 'sheep', and a 'one night stand':
Thank-you, Facebook. Without your incriminating photos, this post would have been picture-less.
See you all tomorrow for a more 'sober' post.

Twerk Out and #backthatazzup
It's FRIDAAAAAAY.
Which basically means it's time to party like it's 1999. Or like it's Friday. I'm not fussy.
So I haven't done a good 'ol #backthatazzupFriday post in probably 6 weeks because I'm a jerk, and I'm sorry Whitney, but I'm fixing that right now. I have honestly had this post sitting in my drafts for probably two weeks now but I just haven't had time to post it.
People are always asking what music I listen to when I work out or when I run, and it's all about the beat and the bass in the song for me. My playlist is actually called 'Twerk Out' because they are songs that I can
I honestly debated re-doing this once I upgraded to iOS 7 last week, but decided that I had already taken eleventy billion screenshots, uploaded them to blogger, and I didn't feel like changing it. So you get to look at the old music app - also, I have new music in this playlist, but that just isn't being added in this post because the app looks different and my OCD isn't okay with two different formats for the pictures. Maybe I'll do another post sometime. Maybe not.
I've rambled long enough, here's a quick glance at some of my music.
WARNING: Most of these songs contain explicit lyrics. I just really like the beat. Don't judge me.

I'm pretty sure I've had it on repeat for a week or two now. Love it.
