I Spy With My Little Eye...

Disclaimer: I was provided with a pair of glasses from Firmoo to review and test out for this post. All opinions are my own.

Since I was in the 4th grade, I've been wearing glasses. At first, it was fun - picking out cool frames, trying on every pair in the store, getting to change the way I looked with one simple pair of frames.. but then as I hit Junior High and High School, it became so uncool to wear glasses and I started wearing contacts.

But, as everything does, my feelings towards glasses/contacts came full circle and I'm back to loving glasses and love switching back and forth between contacts and glasses on a day to day basis. Unfortunately, glasses can cost a pretty penny... I'm talking $200-$800 for ONE pair. Well, that's just not okay for my bank account. That's when I heard about Firmoo. They have SO many frames to choose from and their prices simply cannot be beat. If you're willing to pay $200 on a pair of glasses, you could probably buy 10 pairs from Firmoo for that price.

When it came time to choosing what type of frames I wanted to get, I knew I needed to pick something that would be flattering to my face - but I just didn't know where to begin. The awesome thing with Firmoo is that you can 'digitally' try on every pair of their frames. Meaning that you can upload a picture of yourself and it'll show you what every type of frame will look like on your face. This way you can get a better idea of what will look good and what won't. I "tried on" lots of different pairs:

I chose the black frames in the second screen shot. I felt like they suited me the best, and it was just a bonus that they basically matched my contact case.

(please note, the contact case is not available from Firmoo - this is my own case)

When I got my glasses in the mail I was pleasantly surprised. It only took a few days to get the glasses, and they arrived in a nice hard-shelled case (this is a bonus in my books).

I was so excited to try on my glasses when they arrived. In all honesty, I actually hated them for the first 30 minutes that I had them. They weren't what I expected, I felt like they weren't "me" and was regretting the pair that I had chosen. But after wearing them around the house and getting used to them, I actually started to really love them and thought they complimented my face pretty well.

This was my 'I don't know if I like these glasses yet' face. But, like I said, I quickly grew to love them and started wearing them more frequently.

I feel like this picture is straight out of a glasses advertisement (ha - not to toot my own horn or anything).

Anyway, overall, I have to say that I had a great experience with Firmoo - the customer service was great, my order shipped quickly and on time, and I'm really happy with the final product. I can't wait to order another pair (maybe after Christmas when my bank account is looking a little happier).

If you're interested in picking up a pair (or 2) of great CHEAP glasses, now is the time to do it! Firmoo is have a great sale, 30% off all frames, I promise you don't want to miss this.

Happy shopping.

I guess first impressions don't last after all. Hahaha! You probably just needed time to settle on the new look that the glasses projected on you. However, you look absolutely beautiful in them, in all honesty. Thanks for sharing that, Faith! I hope all is well with you. :)

First things first, you really made a great decision on picking that black framed eye glasses over the other designs. It really suits on the shape of your face, and the color of your eyes. Well, feeling uncomfortable in wearing new pair of glasses at first may be normal to some people, but eventually that feeling will go away after a couple of hours, once the eyes are fully adjusted to the new grade. Just like what happened to you. Congrats on having that eye wear for free, Faith! :-)
